An incredibly rare and collectible Limoges, France trinket box depicting an iconic scene from Disney's 1955 classic animated film, "Lady and the Tramp," on its lid.  Who can forget that moonlit dinner at Tony's Cafe, and the timeless kiss that followed?  Known to some as the "spaghetti scene," these unforgettable moments in the film were called "Prelude to a Kiss," and accompanied by the enchanting song, "Bella Notte."
This heart-shaped jewelry or trinket box from Artoria Limoges was exclusively made for the Disney catalog, and limited to a release of only 2,500 pieces.  Numbered 231/2,500, this vintage porcelain box is also decorated with the musical instruments, a ukulele and
accordion
, played by the dashing
restauranteurs
, Tony and Joe, around the bottom of the piece.  A red wine bottle is featured on the interior of the base, and is revealed when you remove the box's lid.
