The following note is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell in the form supplied to them (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries so that professional disposal can be guaranteed. You can deliver used batteries at a municipal collection point or at collection points in your local businesses. We are also obliged as a distributor of batteries for the return of used batteries, with our obligation to take back to old batteries of the kind that we have as new batteries in our range or have had in our range. Old batteries of the aforementioned kind can either be returned to us with sufficient prepaid postage or delivered directly to our dispatch warehouse at the following address free of charge:

2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005% by mass of mercury, more than 0.002% by mass of cadmium or more than 0.004% by mass of lead, below the dustbin symbol is the chemical name of the pollutant used - where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" stands for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.
Warranty conditions:
The manufacturer (Wannsee-Electronic GmbH) grants a 2-year warranty on the goods advertised with the warranty promise. The period for the calculation of the warranty period begins with the invoice date. If material or manufacturing defects occur during this period, the manufacturer, as a guarantor under the warranty, grants one of the following services of his choice:
free repair of the goods or
free replacement of the goods against an equivalent article (possibly also a successor model, if the original product is no longer available).

Warranty claims are excluded in case of damage to the goods by
abusive or improper treatment
Environmental influences (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.)
Failure to observe any safety precautions

A claim of the warranty requires that the warranty provider is allowed to examine the warranty claim by sending in the goods. It is important to ensure that damage during transport by appropriate packaging is avoided.
To apply for the warranty you must enclose a copy of the original invoice of the consignment. We ask for your understanding that the manufacturer can refuse the warranty without the settlement of this invoice copy. The transmission of the invoice copy is used to calculate the warranty period. Furthermore, you must provide the name and address of the seller, if this does not result from the attached invoice copy.
If it concerns a justified warranty claim, the guarantee processing takes place for you freight-free. Any shipping costs incurred by you will then be reimbursed by the guarantor.
Note:
Your statutory rights against us under the purchase agreement concluded with us are in no way limited by this warranty. In particular, any existing statutory warranty rights to us remain unaffected by this warranty. If the purchased item is defective, you can therefore in any case get in touch with us under the statutory warranty, regardless of whether a warranty claim exists or the warranty is claimed.
